Honor high- achieving students in the 9th Skills Competition of the Ministry of Argiculture and Rural Development 2020

To promply commend the students for their high performance in the 9th Skills competition of the Ministry of Argiculture and Rural development 2020. On 15/06/2020, the College of Machinery and Irrigation held the commendation ceremony for the students participating the competition.

In the recent 9th Skills competition of MARD, the College’s team excelled in the first place amongst other teams with 14 first prizes and 1 third prize. The College have 15 students participating in 9 competition skills/occupations including: Electrical Installation, Electronics, Refrigeration, Automotive technology, Welding, Graphic design, Mechanical engineering design, Information technology network administration, Web technology, 6 students of the team won first prize are:

  1. Dau Dinh Thanh – competing Electrical installation
  2. Vu Trong Son – competing Electrical installation
  3. Nguyen Manh Quang – competing Electronics
  4. Truong Trung Kien – competing Refrigeration
  5. Thong Quoc Bang- competing Information technology network administration
  6. Dang Quoc Toan – competing Graphic design

Speaking at the Ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Chuong – Party Secretary and Rector of the College appreciated the intensive efforts of the students and instructors of the College’s team during the training process “The great results the College’team achieved through this competition proved that the training of the College has been oriented towards more pracical application and enhancing, keeping up with development trend of the World whilst also confirmed the position of the College amongst the Colleges under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural development as well as in the system of the vocational education institutions over the Country” said the Rector.

This is also a chance for the College to acknowledge the results of students from their efforts as well as to raise and boost morales to come over challenges and difficulties in order to get good and outstanding achievements in training and practice. Such activities create spillover effects and encourage young people especially pupils and students of the College of Machinery and Irrigation to continue striving for training and studying.

In order to continue participating in the upcoming 2020 national Skills contest, it is an honor for the College to have 6 students selected into the team of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and other 6 students is selected by the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to join the team of the Dong Nai province. The College will always accompany and create the best conditions for the students to be trained and fully prepared for the national Skills contest and towards the opportunity to be participated in ASIAN and World Skills contests.
