EXAMINATION AND ASSESSMENT OF NATIONAL OCCUPATIONAL SKILLS JULY 2020

In order to enhance the assessment and grant of national vocational certificates recognizing the level of occupational skills of the employees according to the national qualification framework, supporting employees to improve their professional competences, in the afternoon of July 10, 2020, the National Occupational Skills Assessment Center, Vocational College of Machinery and Irrigation held the Opening Ceremony of “Examination and Assessment of National Occupational Skills” for three occupations: Metal Cutting on CNC Machines, Automobile Technology and Industrial Electricity at Level 2/5.

Dr. Nguyen Van Chuong – Rector of the College, Head of the Organizing Board; teachers in the Organizing Board; Board of Examiners; Supervision team; Technical support team; Heads and Deputy Heads of units in the College and 126 candidates were present at the Opening Ceremony.

On behalf of the Organizing Board, Dr. Nguyen Van Chuong – Rector of the College, Head of the Organizing Board highly appreciated the importance of the Examination and Assessment of National Occupational Skills; at the same time, thoroughly grasping the spirit to students to take seriously exams, ensuring the requirements and regulations set out.

The organization of Examination and Assessment of National Occupational Skills aims to encourage employees to constantly improve their professional skills, contributing to improving the quality of human resources, and enhancing competitiveness in the integration process in the region. At the same time, it is to find out gaps in occupational skills of employees compared to the national occupational skill standards issued for employees, businesses, production and service facilities and TVET institutions to have measures to supplement the shortcomings and the lack of skills.

There were 126 candidates participating in the National Occupational Skills Examination and Assessment with two rounds of theory and practice. The Examination and Assessment took place from July 10 to July 13, 2020.
